Immigrants Built Barre Dinner & Fundraiser to benefit Vermont Asylum Assistance Project
Saturday March 7, 6pm
Barre has a fascinating history, and much of it is due to the wide range of backgrounds of the people that came to live and work in the city in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. Join us Saturday March 7 for a potluck dinner inspired by the influx of immigrants that came to Barre from Italy, Scotland, Spain, Lebanon, Syria, Sweden and more.
Bring a dish to share that is special to you: Whether it honors Vermont’s Indigenous people, has roots across town, across the country, or across the globe. We’ll provide a few extras with the help of some of our local restaurant friends.
Free for members, $15 donation to Vermont Asylum Assistance Project for nonmembers. RSVPs strongly recommended. Drinks at 6pm, dinner at 7. All proceeds to be donated to VAAP.
