Periodic(al) Readers Club

Periodic(al) Readers Club will be meeting in the back room from 6-8pm on an every-other-Monday rotation.

Bring a newspaper or that magazine you’ve been meaning to get to...or choose from one of the periodicals on the rack at the club.

In the first hour, find an article to READ thoroughly, in full, from start to finish, quietly to yourself, (even take notes if you like).

In the second hour, you may continue to read quietly, or—for those interested—TALK about what you’ve read (in brief ‘book report’ style), LISTEN to others do the same, & maybe walk away an ‘instant expert’! Come build community through CIVIL DISCUSSION in this lovely third space.

Event is included with the cost of membership and FREE for first-timers! Bring a friend or buy a guest pass for $5. BYO newspaper or magazine; many titles are also available to read on site. Free coffee & tea; additional beverages available for purchase.
